About Me

I started my career 20 years back, as an asst. writer for Balaji productions, after which I joined Zoom Television to explore non-fiction writing. From writing, I forayed into being a creative producer and went on to do multiple shows in both fiction and non-fiction formats.

I’ve been a showrunner and creative director for popular non-fiction shows like Mika Di Voti, MTV Hustle and a number of television and live events like the IIFA awards, Indian Telly awards, Kids Choice awards, Mirchi Music awards etc., pageants like Miss Diva, Miss India etc., festive events, special feature events and have also creatively conducted world tours with the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan etc.

With the desire to create, produce and elevate the experience of storytelling, I founded my own company Indian Storytellers Pvt. Limited in 2016.

As a company, we’ve produced a considerable amount of branded content, a number of long and short format shows, music videos, media campaigns, film promotions, BTS of films, advertisements and corporate AVs.

Shows like, What Women Want with Kareena Kapoor, Bubble Baat, Hello Bollywood, Game on, Bollywood Buzzinga, 3 course meal with Pankaj, FoodVeda, Powerplay With Champions, etc. have been some of the shows my company has produced in the recent past.

I was also the executive producer on the critically acclaimed short film ‘Devi’ in 2019.

I take pride in my company having produced a bunch of digital shows all through the lockdown, for clients like Flipkart Video, Zee 5, Zee Zest etc and series of 5 short films for Hungama.

Parallelly catering to the writer in me, I also conceptualised and wrote the popular fiction television show ‘Beyhadh’ for Sony television and have developed a bunch of concepts for series and films.

When my passion for direction took over, I directed a short film ‘Ab Rab Havale’ and have recently also directed a number of music videos, satiating my love for romantic storytelling.

I was also the Writer-Producer of 5 Film series – ‘Locked in LOVE’ for Hungama Play. As a content producer, writer and director, I’ve covered a wide spectrum of entertaining as well as branded corporate content.
